OMNI-TOOLS is the Israel-France International Research Network for Optical Microscopy and Novel light-matter Interactions for advanced Tools in biological investigations and diagnostics.

It is a five years program of collaboration between CNRS & 4 universities in Israel (Bar-Ilan University, the Weizmann Institute of Science, The University of Jerusalem and the Tel Aviv University). The goal of the new OMNI-TOOLS bilateral action is to push forward fundamental aspects of optical technologies (sources, detectors and light-matter interactions) along with latest developments in imaging instrumentation, and to bring them to applications (including in biomedical imaging).
