Clearing techniques and light sheet microscopy

Over the last fifteen years or so, new tissue clarification techniques have been developed in conjunction with the advent of different types of light sheet microscopes in order to image sample volumes of various sizes and types. We will give you a review of optical clarification techniques with a focus on the Cubic and iDisco methods. We will also share our experience with the Zeiss Lightsheet 7 and the ultramicroscope II from Miltenyi.
